Dc Millionz Shows His True Sound With Dc’s World

Dc Millionz dropped Dc’s World on August 20, 2021, a mini EP with six songs showcasing his New York and Hispanic roots. Dc Millionz wants to reach out to everyone who has been hurt and needs help getting back up on their feet with Dc’s World. Dc Millionz is very upfront about the importance of mental health which is something he believes should be talked about more. Using this album as a way to connect with listeners about the struggles he himself has faced Dc Millionz wants to inspire others to speak up about their issues and become a better person by doing so. Inspired by his grandfather who played guitar around him growing up until Dc Millionz was nine due to his grandfather’s unfortunate passing, Dc Millionz learned how to play guitar himself and used his skills on songs like “XO”, “Be Safe”, and “Bad Bitch”.

More than half of Dc’s World was freestyled and it goes to show how creative he can be with lyrics such as “I know I made some wrongs, and any soul I would ever tell they just get to taking off”. This lyric talks about how trauma can make us act a certain way that isn’t a true reflection of ourselves. Through freestyling his lyrics Dc’s World has a raw feeling and that’s what makes the project stand out on its own. DcMillionz wouldn’t talk about certain things when he was younger but now he speaks his mind and couldn’t be happier. DcMillionz’s message to the world is no matter how down you are it's not the end of the world. Anyone can bounce back and there are other people out there struggling as well, someone will understand. Make sure to check out the rest of Dc’s World along with his other single “be safe” on Spotify and Apple Music.
