Demons - Yadi The OG

Yadi the OG’s upcoming release is titled “Demons” and she plans to release it early April. Her music targets listeners that follow Lil Durk and King Von. Additionally, fans in the industry who listen to real music that stems from the heart. In the near future, she wants to make a music video for the release. What separates Yadi the OG from her competition is that she tells the truth, and no other rappers are telling the real aspects that goes on in the hood. Whereas, many females only rap about sex or taking men’s money. Also, there are not a multitude of females in the industry, and she is unique in that aspect. She is a lesbian too and feels that her lyrics are more creative and possesses better flow than Young MA. The inspiration from the upcoming release came from the desire to have something that spoke to her soul, embodying her city. She pays tribute to King Von following his murder. Prior to his death, he was a big inspiration to her, and she feels that King Von could have been the premier drill artist from Chicago had he had more time. A noteworthy lyric from the release, “All my niggas feel the shit, they killed your brother man you better go and kill that bitch”. That one line speaks to the song in its entirety. It is the constant cycle in the hood and unless you live it and experience it, you won’t understand it. Another lyric from the upcoming release, “Smoke pack that sit you back these eighties can shut Covid down”. The line provides humor and who would not want smoke that can end the pandemic. She wanted to create a song that would carry her sound and would carry on for generations later into her music. The message she intends to portray to her audience is to keep true within yourself and take what is yours. Let the demons and naysayers come out and kill the competition.
