DROCK’s Latest EP “Excuse Me For My Absence” Is Full Of Hits

DROCK seems to be back in action with his latest EP titled “Excuse Me For My Absence”. Released at the end of December, this was DROCK’s only release of the year. Looking to keep things rolling, DROCK has much more content in the works for this year. As for now, “Excuse Me For My Absence” seems to be a fan favorite. Being born & raised in a small town in Cape Cod, Massachusetts affected the music he’s making today because rapping was never accepted in this area. DROCK had to step out of his comfort zone by connecting with surrounding cities he managed to do this extremely effectively with his latest feature link up on the tape, Dtheflyest. DROCK could show off how talented Massachusetts is musically and he was also able to captivate new fans from his home state to continue to expand his audience. When we spoke with DROCK he told us “There has never been much opportunity for the kids growing up where I’m from. I felt like it was my escape during the darkest points in my life. It kept me busy by motivating me on a creative level to establish myself as an artist.”

Some of DROCKS musical inspirations are Meek Mill, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent & many more. While he was growing up listening to them he was inspired by the trials and tribulations they faced. DROCK feels he was uplifted by their accomplishments because they all started out in the same position with the same dreams as he did. Using the same determination that got them to that point, DROCK wants his fans to feel him this year. “Excuse Me For My Absence” is another display of how talented DROCK is as a creative. Making sure his rhymes are directly in line with his life, DROCK takes the recording and writing processes very seriously and speaks on his life.  If you have not had a chance to check out his collection, or his latest EP DROCK is a must stream on all major platforms. Make sure to also check out his latest visual which can be found via his YouTube Channel.
