King DaVinci Hopes That His Music Will Inspire Others To Stay Positive

The artist, King DaVinci, originates from Newark, NJ. Growing up in that environment has shaped his experiences with music. Free-styling in alleys behind elementary school and purchasing instrumental CDs to smoke and freestyle with friends, DaVinci got into music at a young age. However, he believes that although his environment didn't directly shape his music, it contributed to the characteristics he possesses.

When asked about his musical journey, King DaVinci talks about discovering his love for music at 13 years old and his first written song, which he later released as his second single. He also discusses his struggles with distractions and his determination to make his vision of starting his own record label and production company a reality.

King DaVinci’s genre can be classified as lyrical poetry and describes his music as being able to connect and flow over any genre as long as it evokes emotions. His strength as an artist lies in his critical nature and perfectionism. However, he also acknowledges that he has a tendency to allow his inner demons to distract him from mastering his craft.

When asked about his musical inspirations, King DaVinci mentions a variety of artists from different genres. He also talks about his biggest accomplishment being the release of his first single and creating music videos for it. King plans to target a universal audience with his release and believes that his honesty and unique energy set him apart from his competition.

The inspiration for his release, "Infectious", came from a time in his life when he was making decisions out of anger and emotion. DaVinci believes that the message of the song is to stay positive and be aware of the decisions we make in life. The creation process for this release was spiritually draining for him due to his self-sabotaging behavior. However, he hopes that his music will inspire others to stay positive and learn from their mistakes.
