Hailing from Little Rock, Arkansas, Shakur Soul is rising to stardom in the music industry. Throughout his upbringing, Shakur was surrounded by music since his friends would routinely sing in church competitions and in the city. This was a stepping stone for his career in music. Sharur has looked up to many artists as inspiration: Pink Sweat$, Snoh Aalegra, and Steve Wonder. They all influenced him and pushed him to get to the musician he is today. He is focused on getting his music out there in efforts to build and develop his fan base. As of now, he is working on developing an EP for his fans. Shakur’s music is classified as RnB with a mixture of lyrical and versatile punchlines throughout his music. He intends to keep working on his craft while mixing and mastering his music.

Shakur Soul is releasing a single T.O.A.T.L, Thoughts of a Teenage Loverboy, this November 12th and the song is produced by k. LA. This song is intended for anyone that is longing for another person or experiencing love. Shakur wrote this song when he was sixteen and fell in love for the first time. Whether you are a teenager experiencing love for the first time or married with a family and children experiencing love, T.O.A.T.L is intended for anyone going through love. He intends to capture love in the purest form and delivers it in the most effective way that he can without losing sound. He plans on releasing the single on all streaming platforms. He feels that there is a lot of purity of love missing in RNB contemporarily and he aspires to deliver the message of love in the most effective way possible through his music. The chorus incorporates his feelings on love in entirety. The overall message of the song is to remind people of the love they went through or the pure essence of love in their teenage years. With what the world is going through today, he envisions this as the perfect time to release this song. Go follow @Shakur_Sould on Instagram to keep up to date with his journey as a musician.
