GET TO KNOW: Tai Kobain

As an aspiring R&B artist from Downtown Brooklyn, Tai Kobain’s goal as an artist is to stand out from the crowd by consistently putting out high quality music for his fans. Being from the New York scene, Tai used his surrounding area as a form of motivation to begin creating his own music. Another great influencer in Tai’s music journey was his family. Coming from a family of musically inclined individual’s served as early inspiration for Tai to pursue a career in the industry.

As Tai continued to grow up in Brooklyn, he was able to befriend other individuals in school that had the same drive and interest in creating music that he did. Fast forward to present day, Tai Kobain is in the final stages of putting forth his upcoming EP “Thru the Pain’’ which is set to drop this July. In preparation for “Thru the Pain”, Tai released the video for his debut single titled Control this past Friday. Through his visual interpretation and delivery of the song, the assumption could be made that artist’s like The Weeknd and Michael Jackson have played a great role in the development of his style as an artist. With Tai Kobain’s EP slowly approaching it’s release date, it will be interesting to see what else the upcoming artist has in store for his fanbase.
