Stay Out The Way - Jay Royal

Jay Royal grew up in Kankakee Illinois always surrounded by music leading him to making the decision for music to be his full time job. Jay Royal touches upon multiple genres, mostly doing his best work with Hip-Hop and Rap. Hel released “Why That Boa” and “Kobra” in 2020 receiving positive feedback from local fans giving Jay Royal the confidence to release his latest record “Stay Out The Way”. “Stay Out The Way” was released on August 4, 2021 featuring a unique flow and style that compliments each other well. Hoping to reach out to those who are thinking about going out to the streets trying to be someone they are not. Jay Royal wants to help people self evaluate themselves and make people think twice about whether that lifestyle is for them. 

Jay Royal was inspired by people who are not their true selves and trying to convey the message that they are somebody else mostly speaking in the sense of trying to be a gangster. “The Streets Don’t Love Nobody.”, a powerful  lyric from “Stay Out The Way” which speaks volumes about how everyone is looking for street credentials but don’t want to accept the price it comes with. Jay Royal is passionate about his craft and has hopes to be known for his versatile flow, pumping out music for everyone no matter the genre you will find something you’ll like. With this new track Jay Royal warns his listeners about the realities of the streets and how everyone is a vulture who lives by a code and preys on the weak.
