Reigning from Trenton, New Jersey Paxson Chase is looking to change the music narrative in his home state. Mostly being surrounded by trap and drill rappers, Paxson decided to take his own route. Using his dark tone to offer his thoughts on depression, Chase mixes in an alternative sound as well. He also likes to step out and explore his voice going into bedroom pop and soft rock. 2020 was a big year musically for Paxson as he surpassed 300,000 streams. This gave him motivation to keep pushing because of the effect he is having on those going through similar, dark situations. Using influences from idols like XXX and Kid Cudi, he wants to keep being versatile and speaking on real life occurrences. Paxson also is trying to bring back the art aspect of music with his blends of sounds and harmonies. With seeing amazing feedback from release last year titled “I Want to Kill Myself but Now Is Not the Right Time”, expect to see more andmore heart wrenching music from Paxson Chase.

Exciting news has recently come in pertaining an extension to his October 2020 project “Pink II”. Been out since the 17th of February 2021, “Yeah, Whatever Cool Do You” looks to be speak to those who have healed from their previous tragedies while learning from the healing process. With this extension, Chase twists his sound and unique lyrical context to continue progressing his music career. Inspired with the global Covid-19 pandemic having little to do, quarantine taught him to make better of the situation if you are unhappy with it. One of Paxson’s favorite lines reflects his inspiration refraining “Life is a party if you’re not having fun just leave. Throw your own”. Out now on all streaming platforms, make sure to follow Paxson Chase’s journey thus far with “Pink II” with the “Yeah, Whatever Cool Do You” extension.
